My sweet husband was hit by a car last night while riding his bike. He has been training for his 2nd triathalon and an elderly lady did not see him and ran right into him! He was taken by ambulance to Banner Gateway. He was so blessed and is doing okay. No broken bones but a lot of bad road rash, bruises, soreness and a hurt lower back. We feel so blessed that he was not hurt worse! Thank you for all of your nice texts, calls ect. We are lucky to have friends and family like all of you! Further updates to come

Wowee, that looks like it hurts. We are glad it wasn't any worse than it was and that you will be okay!! Rest up and take it easy (not that you have a choice). :o)
Holy cow, sorry to see Tyler all banged up. Your baby is beautiful. How are you doing having two? I am sure you are loving every minute.

Poor guy! Kasey told me about this yesterday and I am shocked! I worry about the old people on the roads. They're so out of it! I'm glad he's doing okay though. :)

I swear old people should NOT be able to drive. I'm glad that he just got bumps and bruises and road rash and nothing more serious.

Oh my heck... I am so sorry! Crazy little old lady...well actually I don't know her I shouldn't say that.. but man these old people on the roads are killing me... in Tyler's case almost literally. I am sooo sorry & very happy to hear he is doing ok.
